Terms of Service
These terms explain how PostureCheck may be used, what the assessment and report are designed to provide, and the important limits around compliance, legal and security decision-making.
The output depends on the accuracy of the answers provided by the person completing the assessment.
Paid deliverables package your answers into findings, roadmap, references and implementation templates.
PostureCheck does not replace legal advice, IRAP, ISO certification, penetration testing or formal audit work.
1. The Service
PostureCheck provides a self-directed cybersecurity and privacy readiness assessment for Australian businesses. The service produces a scored preview and, where unlocked, an executive report with findings, roadmap, framework references and implementation templates.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to provide information on behalf of the organisation being assessed.
3. Free Assessment and Paid Report
The assessment preview is free to start. The full executive report and related products are paid digital deliverables priced in Australian dollars. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider such as Stripe.
During testing, payment may be disabled and report generation may be unlocked for validation purposes only.
4. Accuracy of Results
Results depend on the accuracy and completeness of the answers provided. You should validate recommendations with qualified security, legal or risk professionals before relying on them for formal compliance, insurance or regulatory decisions.
5. Intellectual Property
The PostureCheck platform, question bank, report structure, templates, copy and design are owned by PostureCheck. Generated reports may be used internally by the assessed organisation. They may not be resold, republished or used to create a competing service without written permission.
6. Privacy
Use of PostureCheck is subject to our Privacy Policy. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PostureCheck is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant report or product, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
9. Changes
We may update these terms or the service from time to time. Continued use after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of New South Wales.
